MINIATURE AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS
We are selective in breeding only quality Miniature Australian Shepherds, and in turn strive to produce quality puppies. All puppies are well socialized and cared for.
Miniature Australian Shepherds are between 14 and up to 18 inches at the top of the withers and range from 20 to 40 lbs. Coat is of medium texture and can be either straight or slightly wavy with undercoat. They come in colors of blue merle, red merle, black or red tri with or without white markings and /or tan (copper) points. Their eyes can be brown, blue, amber or any combination including flecked or marbled. Also one eye can be a different color than the other. Natural or docked bobtail.
They make the most complete family member. You will also see them in the comformation and obedience ring. They are easily trained to do what ever venue you choose whether it be Agility, Frisbee, Flyball and also used around the farm for Herding. Or the ever famous couch potatoe!!
We purchased our first Miniature Australian Shepherd in 2004 and oh how happy we are that we did. We are located 60 miles northeast of Dallas, Texas in the country. So they have plenty of access to the countryside when supervised.
All of our dogs are registered with MASCA, ASDR. All breeding dogs have OFA clearances and Eyes checked yearly. All of our breeding stock have their Pawsitive ID done (which includes mdr1 and pra) All puppies produced here will be cleared by Genetic Ancestry for any hereditary diseases when possible.
